Sage Applications was founded to meet the need for an interactive, realistic, and user-friendly educational electronic health record system for students entering healthcare professions. Our two founders each brought unique expertise in educational software development and clinical practice, resulting in an educational electronic health record system tailored to meet the needs of learners as they embark on their healthcare careers.

David Bingham Brown is a co-founder and technical lead at Sage Applications. He has been a pioneer in online medical content delivery with over twenty years of experience at multiple American Board of Medical Specialties member boards. He holds a PhD in computer science with an emphasis on software analysis and testing, bringing a passion for high-quality software to Sage’s development group.

Jackie Christianson is a co-founder and the lead user interface specialist at Sage Applications. She has extensive experience as a clinician and has worked in over 30 different healthcare institutions including roles in emergency medical services, laboratory services, and nursing. She holds a PhD in nursing is currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate nursing students.
